NBA Picks 2/24/22
As Michael Jordan once announced in a fax, “I’m back”. We, like most of the NBA, were happy to have a week off. We went 0-3 to end the first half of the season but we’re rejuvenated and ready to go on a run. Let’s take a look at tonight’s slate for the NBA Picks 2/24/22.
Boston Celtics at Brooklyn Nets (+9) 7:30 p.m EST
News out of New York City indicates Covid restrictions may be loosening up in the coming weeks, thus allowing for Kyrie Irving to play at home. That hasn’t happened yet and the Brooklyn Nets are still without Kevin Durant. For now, fade the Nets.
Pick: Boston Celtics -9 (-110 via DraftKings)
Memphis Grizzlies at Minnesota Timberwolves (+2) 8:10 EST
Coming off of his win in the three-point shooting contest, I think we see Karl-Anthony Towns at his best tonight. D’Angelo Russell should be back alongside Anthony Edwards. The Grizzlies are good but I’m not sold on them being a title contender. This game is close to a coin flip so I’ll take the points.
Pick: Minnesota Timberwolves +2 (-110 via DraftKings)
Denver Nuggets at Sacramento Kings (+4) 10:10 p.m EST
When we pass, please inscribe this on our tombstone, “Fade the Sacramento Kings”.
