Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi has already made his mark as an emerging actor. Now, he’s moving behind the scenes as a producer. Working alongside Black-ish creator Kenya Barris, the Cleveland native is prepared to release a new series called Entergalatic through Netflix. Earlier this week, the streaming platform shared a new look at the upcoming project.
“The series follows a young artist named Jabari, voiced by Mescudi, as he attempts to balance love and success. Finding the latter brings Jabari a step closer to the former when moving into his dream apartment introduces him to his new neighbor, photographer it-girl, Meadow. An explosion of art, music, and fashion, Entergalactic takes place in the only city that can handle all three: New York,” the show’s logline reads, according to Denise Petski of Deadline.
Mescudi and Barris will be joined by an all-star crew that includes Ty Dolla $ign, Teyana Taylor, Jaden Smith, Vaness Hudgens, 070 Shake and several others. Entergalactic will also feature new music from Kid Cudi. The world will be able to see all of their work on September 30, 2022. For now, check out the latest look at Entergalatic below.
