Ella Mai has delivered her sophomore album, Heart On My Sleeve. Complete with 15 tracks, the dynamic body of work includes guest appearances from Latto, Roddy Ricch and Lucky Daye. Meanwhile, Boi-1da, Jahaan Sweet, The Rascals, Mustard and others play the role of the project’s production crew. To top it all off, Ella Mai has built up anticipation for this project with singles like “DFMU” and “Leave You Alone.”
Heart On My Sleeve serves as the follow-up to the London native’s debut self-titled LP. Released in 2018, the project moved 69,000 units in its first week and landed near the top of the Billboard 200 charts. The 15-track album included contributions from H.E.R, John Legend and Chris Brown with the massive hit single, “Boo’d Up.” By the end of 2018, Ella Mai had established herself as one of the most promising young singers in R&B. Now, she’s looking to live up to the hype that her previous project has created.
“I poured my whole heart into this album, more so than ever before. I am overly excited for this sophomore journey. Let’s do it all over again,” she wrote on Instagram.
