During the holiday weekend, PARTYNEXTDOOR took the stage at Drake’s concert venue for a special concert. Billed as PARTYNEXTDOOR and friends, Drake made sure to stop by for the event. While on stage, he offered an update regarding the status of the singer’s next album.
“I’m going on tour [and] PARTY [is] dropping PND 4,” Drake told the crowd.
“Yeah, he [is] dropping PND 4 because they don’t write like us anymore.”
PARTYNEXTDOOR stays out of the spotlight often, but he has been out and about a bit more frequently through the last few years. In 2020, he dropped his most recent album, PARTYMOBILE, with contributions from Drake and Rihanna. In addition, he has collaborated with Trippie Redd, Diddy and others over the last few years. Not to mention, he was recently spotted at Virginia State University’s homecoming. Now, it appears that he could be on his way back with more new music.
PARTYNEXTDOOR is the latest OVO Sound artist to make a splash. Most recently, dvsn dropped Working On My Karma and appeared on Rory’s I Thought It’d Be Different. Elsewhere, Drake added Naomi Sharon to the label. Earlier this month, she returned with alternative versions of her debut OVO Sound singles. Not to be forgotten, Drake recently co-signed rising R&B talent LAVI$H.
