DJ Khaled and The Kid LAROI will reportedly take part in the Stanley Cup Concert Series. Held at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, both performances are set to take place before the first two games of this year’s Stanley Cup. The Kid LAROI will kick things off before Game 1 on Saturday, June 8, with DJ Khaled to follow before Game 2 on Monday, June 10. Both shows will be open to the public for free and portions of each performance will be featured during Stanley Cup broadcasts on ABC.
The Stanley Cup Concert Series is just one of the many surprises the NHL hopes to pull out during championship season. In addition, the NHL has partnered with ESPN to launch Chaos Run within NHL Blast on Roblox. The game “combines an obstacle course race with hockey gameplay skills.” Just like the Stanley Cup Concert Series, it is also free to play.
Elsewhere, the NHL has teamed up with Petco Love to launch Stanley Pup. The rescue dog competition spotlights “16 pups representing the teams that qualified for the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs alongside special celebrity appearances.” However, unlike the concert series and Chaos Rose, it is not free unless you are an ESPN+ subscriber. The series will air on ESPN+ at 8 p.m. EST on Friday, June 7.
