This year, there are a number tracks that appear to be contenders for the mythical “Song of the Summer” title. Burna Boy’s “Last Last” seems to be leading the pack at the moment with “Break My Soul” by Beyoncé, “F.N.F” by Glorilla and several Bad Bunny tracks following close behind. In the midst of this crowded field, “Gotta Move On” by Diddy and Bryson Tiller appears to be a strong sleeper candidate in the “Song of the Summer” race.
Shortly after delivering a show stopping performance at the 2022 BET Awards, Diddy has returned with a new visual. Teaming up with Teyana “Spike Tey” Taylor for the “Gotta Move On” video, the New York native delivers red-light offering that is complete with dance routines, Tiffany Haddish cameos and an added verse from Bryson Tiller. All in all, the “Gotta Move On” video is the needed visual component to a track that should be dominating the charts.
Diddy’s “Gotta Move On” is the first track to be released from his upcoming R&B album. While he hasn’t shared a release date for the project, “Gotta Move On” is a strong start. Check out the Teyana Taylor-directed visuals below.
