For more than 60 years, Diana Ross has managed to captivate fans with hit after hit after hit. She’s earned 12 GRAMMY nominations, amass six number-one Billboard Hot 100 hits and toured the world multiple times. Along the way, she’s worked with Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and Smokey Robinson. Not to mention, her children have carried on her legacy by starring in Hollywood films, publishing books and winning EMMYs. At the age of 77 years old, Ross hardly has anything to prove, but she still has a passion for getting in the studio and creating magic.
Diana Ross has announced that her 25th studio album will arrive on a streaming platform in your phone this September. Primarily written and recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic, the project will include 13 tracks and contributions from Jack Antonoff, Jimmy Napes, Tayla Parx and Spike Stent.
“This collection of songs is my gift to you with appreciation and love,” Ross said.
“I am eternally grateful that I had the opportunity to record this glorious music at this time. I dedicate this songbook of love to all of you, the listeners. As you hear my voice you hear my heart.”
Her 25th studio and first LP of original music in 22 years, Thank You, will be released on September 10. Check out the lead single, “Thank You,” below.
