In the summer of 2015, Russell signed a deal with the shoe company Nike. According to Nick DePaula from ESPN, Russell’s deal was set to expire in the fall of 2019 and Russell would become a free-agent.
D’Angelo Russell’s Nike shoe deal is set to expire this fall as well. Brands already have massive interest in the All-Star, but a move to LA would escalate his offers. https://t.co/3LaZHRCaoF

Russell will be joining Udonis Haslem from the Miami Heat and his current teammate from the Warriors Glen Robinson III as the only NBA players that have an endorsement deal with the brand started by Wade in 2012 when he joined Li-Ning.
Russell, a one-time all-star, joined the Golden State Warriors this summer in a sign and trade between the Brooklyn Nets and the Warriors. So far this season he has played in 10 games as injuries have kept him in the sidelines for some games. This season, he’s averaging 24.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 5.1 assists in 31.5 minutes per game.
