Head Coach Mike McCarthy and the Dallas Cowboys announced that quarterback Dak Prescott underwent successful surgery on his left shoulder to start the offseason. The surgery reportedly went well and McCarthy has “no concern” about it impacting the quarterback for his offseason workouts. Prescott has had several nagging injuries this past season and it is a good sign he was able to clear one up to start the 2022 NFL offseason.

Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys ended the season with a loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the Wildcard round of the 2022 NFL Playoffs. While the team started the season hot, they cooled down considerably and it was fairly obvious the quarterback was hampered some by injuries. Moving into the offseason and next year’s season the hope is the Cowboys can recapture some of that magic. Still major decisions about free agency, the 2022 NFL Draft, and current players loom for Jerry Jones and Dallas.
