
Many viewers around the country are looking for a show that can fill the space that Euphoria has left behind following its season two finale. Right now, Snowfall is continuing to do its thing on Starz and Atlanta will return later this month on FX. Adding to the exciting slate of high-profile shows, Starz has revealed that P-Valley will finally return this summer. After a series of COVID-19 relate delays, the hit series will kick off its second season this June. An exact premiere date is expected to be finalized in the coming weeks.
A few things have changed in the two years that have passed since season one premiere. Most notably Gail Bean and Psalms Salazar have been added to the cast. Deadline reports that Salazar will play the role of Whisper, “an enigmatic free spirit with a spooky streak who speaks in riddles and eerie truth.” Additionally, the report indicates that Bean will portray Roulette, “a feisty wild child who truly lives up to her name.” More recently, Morocco Omari, Dominic Devore and Jordan M. Cox were upgraded to main cast members.
“Season 2 will take place five months after the Season 1 finale and will take on The Pynk’s struggle to thrive amid the Covid-19 pandemic. She also shared that viewers can look forward to even more hits on the series, including new music from J. Alphonse Nicholson’s Lil Murda. The set visit also featured appearances from the series’ stars,” the synopsis reads, according to Deadline.
