Jamie Foxx is returning to Netflix with yet another project. The multi-talented star is set to appear in the upcoming comedy series, Dad Stop Embarrassing Me. Foxx plays the role of a single bachelor who takes on added parenting duties when his teenage daughter moves in with him.
“Brian Dixon, successful business owner and bachelor, just became a full-time father to his teenage daughter Sasha. Determined to be the best father he can be, Brian’s going to need all the help he can get from his dad and sister — and Sasha’s going to need all the help she can get learning how to deal with her new, lovingly chaotic [father],” the official description reads.
“Full of heart and humor, Dad Stop Embarrassing Me is inspired by Foxx’s real-life relationship with daughter Corinne Foxx, who also serves as executive producer. The multi-cam sitcom reunites Foxx with showrunner Bentley Kyle Evans.”
Foxx will be joined by a star-studded cast that includes Porscha Coleman, David Alan Grier and Jonathan Kite. Foxx will also be reunited with The Jame Foxx Show showrunner Bentley Kyle Evans.
This is Foxx’s second project with Netflix in recent months. He also starred in Project Power alongside Dominique Fishback and Chika.
