These days with the power of the Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC, every gamer would love to see reboots/remasters of their favorite games whether its from the 90’s or early 00’s. ‘Legacy Of Kain‘ may be one of those beloved classics that players would like to see rebooted or remastered. And in a recent interview with Australian website Finder, Michael Brinker, Senior Designer of ‘Rise Of The Tomb Raider‘ spoke on the possibilities of a new ‘Legacy Of Kain‘. Brinker describes the possibility as 50/50, essentially playing it safe. Brinker tells Finder that they have “in-house developers who really want to make that game” and that the studio is “always tossing around and talking about ideas. It really is 50/50.”
It’ll be interesting to see if Crystal Dynamics one day decides to deliver a new ‘Legacy Of Kain‘, seeing how it was a hit during its run. Maybe after the success of ‘Rise Of The Tomb Raider‘ on Xbox One and Ps4, the developers may decide to take on the project head on. Stick around for any updates on the matter.
