(2020 The Cookiee Jar/EMPIRE)

When the time comes, you have to be ready. At the top of the year, New Jersey’s own Cookiee Kawaii emerged on the scene with “Vibe” and she’s been tactfully moving forward ever since. Despite the obstacles the COVID-19 pandemic has created within the music industry, she’s been able to move forward effortlessly.

Appearing Genius and a number of other outlets, her profile has reason as a fan favorite. Musically, she’s continued to do her thing as well. Earlier this month, she dropped not one, but two new music videos for “Vibe” and the remix with Tyga. Now, she’s taking another step forward with the release of her latest project, Club Soda Vol. 2.

Club Soda Vol. 2 comes strong with 10 tracks. Along the way, we get established records like “Vibe” and its remix with Tyga. Also, she offers potential hits like “She’s From Jersey” and “Rather Be.”

The release of her latest project wraps up a great month for the Garden State. Dougie F has come strong with two new videos and a new record with Mike Zombie and Dougie F. Joe Budden has announced that he’s moving his podcast from Spotify to a new problem. Not to mention, Sony picked up the rights to the upcoming Whitney Houston biopic. With all of the things going on within the music scene, be sure to check out Club Soda Vol. 2.
