
The St. Louis Cardinals continue to see cancellations and postponements left and right amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The Cardinals had rescheduled a series with the Detroit Tigers for this week, which has since been postponed once again.

According to the statement was that the St. Louis Cardinals and Detroit Tigers are going to need more time until their series is made up. The Cardinals will continue to look to get back on the ball field, but positive tests continue to derail the hopes of this.
The Pittsburgh Pirates series that was scheduled has also been put on hold in another one of the recent announcements from the St. Louis Cardinals. The COVID-19 pandemic has put quite the wrench in the 2020 season with, at minimum, 11 games to be rescheduled.
They are nearing the quarter, 25% mark, in terms of games from their season that will need to be rescheduled. This outbreak continues leaving the St. Louis Cardinals only having played five games with a 2-3 record while the Pittsburgh Pirates will have played plenty of games in comparison.
There has been a two-week break since the Cardinals have taken the field last during the 2020 season. The league mentioned that it will need to continue and undergo testing and ensure that the Cardinals can get back on the field. The COVID-19 pandemic continues to hamper the 2020 Major League Baseball season.
