The summer may be coming to a close, but Bryson Tiller and the Ying Yang Twins are still outside. Months after delivering his latest solo single, the Louisville native has teamed up with the Ying Yang Twins to deliver the “Outside” video. The three-minute visual is shot within a dark landscape that is offset by a plethora of Black dancers in white ensembles. Paying homage to the memorable “Whisper” video of the 2000s, the visual spotlights Bryson Tiller as he whispers in a woman’s ear and brings in the duo for a cameo.
“Used to be in love, now you’re like, ‘F*ck Cupid’/Hate to be your ex, know that n*gga feel stupid/Thumbin’ through the ‘Gram, tryna figure out where you been,” he sings.
“All he need to know is that you’re outside/Watchin’ real-time while you’re too live/Easily adjusted to your new life/Since you let loose, he been too tight.”
Bryson Tiller has been on a tear throughout 2022. Not only has delivered the “Outside” video, but he also dropped “Gotta Move On” with Diddy and collaborated with EST Gee. The world may be more than five years removed from Trapsoul, but it’s become increasingly clear that the Louisville native has not lost a step.
