Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Bryce Young has announced that he will enter the 2023 NFL Draft, ending his college career. This announcement comes after he and the program beat the Kansas State Wildcats 45-20 in the Allstate Sugar Bowl. Young is considered the top quarterback in the class and could be the number one overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. If not he will not fall far behind that number in the draft. Young is also considered one of if not the best quarterbacks to play at the University of Alabama.

In his three-year career with the Alabama Crimson Tide, Bryce Young completed 624 passes for 8,356 yards, 80 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions on 949 attempts. He rushed the ball 139 times for 162 yards and seven rushing touchdowns in his career at Alabama. While with the Crimson Tide he was the 2021 Heisman Trophy winner and he won the 2021 College Football Playoffs National Championship. This season Young was named the MVP of the Allstate Sugar Bowl after the team won the game.
Currently, the Houston Texans are projected to have the number one overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. They have already been linked heavily to Bryce Young with that selection. A great career at Alabama has led to this and Young will begin his NFL journey in the Spring.
