LeBron “Bronny” James Jr. will be taking his talents to Southern California. The highly-touted high school basketball prospect has elected to enroll at the University of Southern California in the fall.
“Fight On,” he wrote as he posted a photo of himself wearing his high school uniform inside of the USC locker room.
James Jr. is the third top-100 recruit to join the USC Trojans this year. Previously, the Trojans landed five-star prospect Isaiah Collier of Wheeler High School in Georgia. In addition, USC has secured the commitment of Collier’s teammate, Arrinten Page. Like James Jr., Page is also a four-star prospect. Prior to James Jr.’s commitment, USC ranked within the top 30 recruiting classes of the year. With his commitment, the Trojans could make their way into the top 20.
James Jr., Page and Collier join a program that finished second in the Pac-12 last season with a record of 22-11. However, the Michigan State Spartans and Tom Izzo knocked USC out of March Madness in the first round. Fortunately, the program was able to retain its leading scorer, Boogie Ellis, for a fifth season. By adding James Jr. and Collier, USC could have one of the most exciting backcourts in the country next season.
