Brent Faiyaz may be on the verge of topping the Billboard 200 chart for the first time in his career. Hits Daily Double has reported that the Baltimore native’s debut album, Wasteland, is expected to move anywhere between 105,000 and 115,000 units during its first week. As a result, Wasteland will likely find itself in competition with Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti for the top spot.
Wasteland is not the only major project to make its way to Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL, etc. this weekend. Burna Boy also released his latest studio LP, Love, Damini. Hits Daily Double has not offered a sales projection for the album’s first-week performance, but it is seemingly performing well on streaming services. According to HDD, the Grammy winner earned his biggest streaming day of all-time on Spotify on July 8, with 10 million listens.
Aside from Wasteland and Love, Damini, Westside Gunn’s Peace Fly God and the deluxe edition of Chris Brown’s Breezy may also cause some movement on the streaming charts as well as the Billboard 200 chart.
