Wagner won’t have to travel much to join his new team as he stays in the NFC West. After 10 years with the Seattle Seahawks, he was released as the team approaches a rebuilding phase.
The eight-time Pro-Bowler linebacker was drafted in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft and made his presence felt immediately in his rookie season. He came in second for the Defensive Rookie of the Year Award with 11 votes. By his third season, he earned a selection to the Pro-Bowl and the All-Pro teams.
With Wagner, the Rams replace Von Miller, who recently signed a six-year deal with the Buffalo Bills, in their defensive scheme. In 10 years, he has registered 11 interceptions, 23.5 tackles, and 1383 combined tackles.
