Oregon Ducks quarterback Bo Nix has announced that he will return to the program for his final year of eligibility. The video released by the University of Oregon announcing the return was titled “Bo Is Back”. He began his career with the Auburn Tigers before transferring to the Oregon Ducks this past offseason. His first year with the Ducks featured him in the Heisman Trophy race at one point, but he was not a finalist at the end of the season. This will be a big positive for Oregon next season in the PAC-12.

This season with the Oregon Ducks, Bo Nix completed 271 passes for 3,389 yards, 27 touchdowns, and six interceptions on 379 attempts. He has rushed the ball 84 times for 504 yards and 14 touchdowns. Nix and the Oregon Ducks will play the North Carolina Tar Heels on December 28th in the San Deigo County Credit Union Holiday Bowl. The team will hope to compete for a spot in the PAC-12 Championship and College Football Playoffs next year with their quarterback returning to the program.
When announcing he was returning, Bo Nix said the following: “There’s nothing like a Saturday in Autzen Stadium, in front of the best fans in college football. There’s nothing like being an Oregon Duck. For 2023, I’m back.”
