Philadelphia 76ers used the number one overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft to select Ben Simmons, an Australian basketball prodigy who spent one season as a member of the LSU Tigers. Ben was was dazzling crowds from the start of his young NBA career in Summer League. He was dropping some wild passes and his court vision was far more advanced than those on the court with him.
But before the season started, he suffered an injury but he did have a chance to come back during the season. Unfortunately for Sixers fans, he was formally shut down later on in the season. But as the 2016-17 season comes to a close and the Sixers head for another draft lottery, they get some good news to close out their season. Philly will be getting an injury-free Ben Simmons back on the court very son.
