Former President Barack Obama is gearing up to appear on The Late Late Show With James Corden later this month. The former U.S. Senator has appeared on The Tonight Show, The Late Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live, but it will mark his first time appearing on Corden’s show.
With that said, it is not the first time that a member of the Obama family has appeared on the late-night variety show. His wife, Michelle Obama, has appeared on the show twice. Unlike his wife, he will appear via Zoom and not in the studio.
This is Obama’s latest late-night interview this year. Most recently, the bestselling author chopped it up with The Kid Mero and Desus Nice on Showtime. The trio chopped it up regarding the pandemic, his family, his new book and much more. Not much has changed since then, but the charismatic lawmaker always keeps things interesting.
The Corden-Obama interview is set to air on May 17.
