In just a matter of years, Baby Keem has gone from being a promising young act to a Grammy winner. Tonight, he cemented himself in the halls of music history by winning “Best Rap Performance” at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards. Baby Keem’s collaboration with his cousin, Kendrick Lamar, “Family Ties,” bested “Thot Sh*t” by Megan Thee Stallion, J. Cole’s “My Life” and other hits from the past year.
Moving forward, Baby Keem will step further into the spotlight as pgLang’s premiere act. Backed by Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free, the newly-minted Grammy winner has a bright future ahead. Having already collaborated with the likes of Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar as well as topping the charts with his debut album, the sky appears to be the limit for where this young star can go.
The 64th Annual Grammy Awards are nearing their end. With Trevor Noah leading the way, The Recording Academy is prepared to determine winners in two of the most important categories, Record of the Year and Album of the Year, as the event comes to a close.
