Actress Ayo Edebiri will host Saturday Night Live on Saturday, February 3, 2024. The Bear star will be supported by musical guest Jennifer Lopez.
Edebiri completed the second season of The Bear last summer. Months later, she received her first honors at the Golden Globe Awards, Primetime Emmy Awards and the Critics’ Choice Awards.
“This is a show about found family and real family, and my parents are here tonight,” she said as she celebrated her first acting win at the Primetime Emmy Awards.
“I’m making them sit kind of far away from me because I’m a bad kid. But I love you so much. Thank you so much for loving me and letting me feel beautiful and Black and proud of all of that. I just love you so much.”
Meanwhile, Lopez is preparing to release her first solo studio album in a decade, This Is Me…Now. Her ninth studio album is expected to arrive on February 16 and will be accompanied by a feature film.
“Along with Director Dave Meyers, Lopez creates a genre-redefining immersive cinematic experience: an extravagant visual and sonic feast with impressive choreography, star-studded cameos, costumes, sets and blockbuster-worthy visuals,” a press release announcing the film reads.
