There is no shortage of music festivals set to take place throughout Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia this summer. In the nation’s capital, Lil’ Uzi Vert, Brent Faiyaz and many others are set to perform at Broccoli City Festival. Not far away, Pharrell is bringing Something In The Water back down to Virginia with performances from Lil’ Wayne, Lil’ Durk and of course, Pharrell. To top it all off, Live Nation is bringing Summer Days to the Pier Six Pavillion in Baltimore, Maryland on June 24, 2023. The one-day festival will feature performances from R&B stars like Lucky Daye, Muni Long and Joyce Wrice. Not to be forgotten, Baltimore’s own John Wells will be taking the stage as well.
Each act that is set to take the stage at Summer Days has a reputation that precedes them. Lucky Daye has cemented himself as a fan favorite through the success of his last two albums, Candydrip and Painted. Alongside Lucky Daye, Joyce Wrice and Muni Long represent the next generation of women who are shaping R&B for the future. Muni Long is an accomplished singer and songwriter who grinded her way to the top before breaking into the mainstream with “Hrs & Hrs” in 2022. Meanwhile, Joyce Wrice has locked in with talented producers like D’Mile and Kaytranada to produce dynamic tracks that set her apart from her peers. Adding in some Rap to the R&B mix, John Wells is a Baltimore, Maryland native who has broken onto the scene in the last year and earned a feature in Rolling Stone earlier this year.
Festival season is quickly approaching and Summer Days will set the stage for what it is to come. Check out the complete lineup below.
