For more than two decades, Hot 97’s Summer Jam has provided artists in the tri-state area and beyond with an opportunity to make a statement in the Big Apple. Over the years, everyone from Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter to Michael Jackson has shown love to the annual event. This year, a new group of stars will make their way to the stage and have their Summer Jam moment. Leading the way, Cardi B is set to return to the Summer Jam stage and headline the annual concert. Not far behind, tri-state natives like Lola Brooke, French Montana, The Lox, Ice Spice, Fivio Foreign, Lil’ Tjay and Coi Leray will also be in attendance. Rounding out the lineup, GloRilla will also grace the stage at UBS Arena in New York on June 4, 2023.
“HOT 97’s Summer Jam is the largest live Hip Hop music & culture celebration in America, taking over New York with some of the biggest names in Hip Hop on one stage! Many consider it the most iconic Hip Hop show in the world, and it’s BACK for its 29th year as THE platform for Hip Hop’s biggest superstars,” a press statement from Hot 97 reads.
In addition to putting together a lineup of tri-state natives, Hot 97 is also planning a special celebration for Hip-Hop’s anniversary. As the world inches closer to a massive celebration that will honor what started at 1520 Sedgwick Avenue years ago, the iconic radio station will pull together a collection of innovators and tastemakers who have made the culture what it is today.
Tickets for this year’s Summer Jam concert will go on sale on April 8, 2023. Check out the full lineup below.
