J. Cole is gearing up to return to his home state of North Carolina yet again. This week, the Grammy Award winner announced that next year’s Dreamville Festival will take place on April 1-2, 2023 in Raleigh, North Carolina at Dorothea Dix Park.
“Dreamville Festival wants to keep growing and building off the success of the expanded two-day event last year. Our team is excited to reunite with our Dreamville family from around the world next spring,” the festival’s president, Adam Roy, said.
“Day ones, JID fans, Ari fans, music fans, everyone is welcome. Consider this your personal invite. Come through, you won’t want to miss Dreamville 2023.”
Dreamville Festival launched in 2019 with performances from Davido, SZA, 21 Savage, Big Sean and others. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic sidelined Cole and company for two years, but they came back better than ever in 2022. Thousands of loyal fans traveled down to North Carolina to see Lil’ Baby, Wizkid, Wale and several others. Not to mention, Dreamville star Ari Lennox and J.I.D performed as well.
It is unclear who will take the stage at this year’s Dreamville Festival, but fans will likely be treated to a performance from J. Cole. Tickets will go on sale in the near future.
