Zendaya continues to win in a major way. At the end of last year, she broke through with her first Primetime Emmy win. Then, she delivered an incredible performance alongside Colman Domingo in the Rue special. From there, she starred alongside John David Washington in Malcolm & Marie. Now, she’s gearing up for yet another major role.
Zendaya has joined the star-studded cast of Space Jam: A New Legacy. She will provide the voice for the iconic cartoon character, Lola Bunny. The star actress joins a cast that includes Don Cheadle, Sonequa Martin-Green, Gabriel Iglesias and of course, LeBron James. NBA stars Anthony Davis, Chris Paul and Klay Thompson are also expected to appear in the film. Warner Bros. shared the news through the film’s Twitter account on Saturday.
“Welcome to the Jam, Zendaya,” Warner Bros. wrote.
Lola Bunny is just the latest role in her 2021-2022 run. She is set to appear in Dune as Chani. Not to mention, she will reprise the role of MJ in Spider-Man: No Way Home. For now, let’s check out her brief cameo in the Space Jam: A New Legacy trailer as Lola Bunny.
