Yvonne Orji will tape her debut comedy special for HBO later this month at Howard University. HBO first made the announcement public on Friday afternoon.
“With footage shot in Nigeria in early January and taping Saturday, Feb. 29 before a live audience at Howard University in Washington, D.C, the special will be written and executive produced by Yvonne Orji, directed by Chris Robinson and executive produced by Michelle Caputo and Shannon Hartman,” HBO writes.

The special will be an hour long and has not been titled yet. It will be written and executive produced by Orji. Michelle Caputo and Shannon Hartman will also carry executive producer responsibility while Chris Robinson will direct.
Orji is best known for her role as Molly on Insecure. The Issa Rae produced comedy is set to return later this year. In the meantime, you may want to head down to Washington, D.C. to see Orji perform at Howard University.
