Baylor Bears commit, 2024 top 15 recruit and top three center Yves Missi has announced he is reclassifying to the 2023 class. This means he will join the Baylor program in the Fall and will be eligible for the 2024 NBA Draft after the college basketball season is complete. He is likely to declare if he has a good season. Missi was expected to be a first-round pick in the 2025 NBA Draft and should be a candidate to go in the first round of the 2024 NBA Draft. The talented prospect is about to turn 19 and likely wanted to get his clock to the NBA started.

In the 2024 recruiting class, Yves Missi ranked as the 15th overall prospect and the third center in the class. The likely “one and done” prospect will be a huge addition to the Baylor Bears this season who lost some talent to both graduation and the NBA. To build a powerhouse program in college basketball, teams have to continuously add top level high school basketball talent. With Missi and the rest of the roster shaping up for this Fall, Baylor should once again be one of the best teams in the Big 12 and the NCAA at large. For Missi he will be focused on getting better at improving his stock for the 2024 NBA Draft next year.
