Will Wade and the LSU Tigers have been well established as a great place for five-star recruits to commit. The team has landed the commitment of 2022 top 15 recruit and top-five center Yohan Traore. SEC basketball has taken a serious step up in recent years and to continue to compete LSU will need five-star recruits like Traore. Adding talent in the paint is still an important part of winning basketball games in the NCAA.

Yohan Traore did not have a final top list of schools, but he did have an impressive list of scholarship offers. The talented big man committed to the LSU Tigers over the Gonzaga Bulldogs, Texas Tech Red Raiders, Kansas Jayhawks, and UCLA Bruins. Head Coach Will Wade continues to prove he is one of the best young recruiters in not only the SEC but the NCAA. The Tigers also continue to compete at a high level in SEC play to pair with their recruiting.
Yohan Traore is a beast. He’s been dominating this camp. Assist from Jett Howard. pic.twitter.com/1f6kLOVaoy

Yohan Traore is not the first recruit in 2022 to commit his services to the LSU Tigers. He will be joining fellow top 15 recruit and power forward Julian Phillips as well as top 85 recruit and small forward Devin Ree. While LSU has other offers out for now this may be the only additions to their 2022 recruiting class. Landing three top 100 recruits with two of them being in the top 15 is more than good enough heading into next season.
Will Wade has a clear goal for the LSU Tigers and it all boils down to winning them a National Championship. Traore will help that goal on his way to the NBA.
