Producer Yeti Beats has launched a joint venture with RCA Records and landed his first artist, BJ The Chicago Kid. Welcoming BJ The Chicago Kid, Reach The World Records has unveiled the first single from the singer’s upcoming album. “Forgot Your Name” is an upbeat track with an irresistible groove.
“As a songwriter, I strive to capture the essence of a moment and turn it into a story that resonates with others. This song is inspired by that feeling of meeting someone at a bar and being swept up in the moment, only to realize you can’t remember their name,” BJ The Chicago Kid said about his new single with Cory Henry.
“It’s a mix of excitement and vulnerability, but ultimately it’s about the universal desire to connect with others and create meaningful experiences that last long after the night is over.”
“Forgot Your Name” sets the stage for BJ The Chicago Kid’s upcoming album. The project doesn’t have a release date just yet, but it is expected to arrive sometime this summer. Not only will it kick off a new chapter for the talented singer, but it will also serve as the first LP release from Yeti Beats’ Reach The World Records. In the words of the star producer, its a “dream manifested into reality.”
“This project is a dream manifested into reality for me. I had the idea of producing a record influenced by the music of my favorite soul singer, Al Green, and recording it with a live band,” Yeti Beats said.
“Traveling to Memphis to record in his studio was an immense honor for all of us.”
