To say I am surprised by this news would be me lying to you guys because I am not surprised. This would have eventually happened sooner or later. Now there isn’t any confirmation just yet but according to the folks at Modern Notoriety, we can expect for a ‘What The’ Air Jordan 1 to release later on this year.
Following in the footsteps of several other ‘What The’ creations, the purpose of said shoe is mash up some of the best colorways for that specific silhouette into one shoe. As for the ‘What The’ Air Jordan 1 it appears from the photo shop picture shown above by @kickposter the three colorways chosen was the ‘Bred‘, ‘Chicago‘ and ‘Royal‘. The ‘Bred’ can be seen on the toe box area, the ‘Royal’ will take the duties of the heel portion of the sneaker and lastly the side panels are represented by the ‘Chicago’ 1’s. Amazing.
If and when the release details are confirmed and made known expect for instant pandemonium from sneaker heads especially since the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG seems to always have hype surrounding it no matter the colorway.
