The Golden State Warriors are not only the clear-cut best team in the NBA today, but they could even be considered as the greatest team the league has seen in its illustrious history. With four elite level talents on their roster highlighted by superstars Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant, the versatility and offensive firepower the Warriors bring every night is terrifying.
After winning another championship this past season, the Dubs will have some interesting roster situations to take care of this coming summer. While Durant himself can opt out this offseason, the primary focus will be on Stephen Curry who is slated to hit unrestricted free agency.
Curry will be eligible for a $200M+ super max contract extension and according to Owner Joe Lacob, the Warriors are prepared to do ‘whatever it takes’ to retain the two-time MVP. Following from Tim Kawakami of The Mercury News:
I asked Joe Lacob last night if he'll offer Steph Curry the super-max: "We're going to do whatever it takes to keep Steph here and happy."

After the success Stephen Curry has led the Warriors to in recent years, it comes as no surprise that Lacob is willing to break the bank to keep the point guard in Golden State. The Davidson product has blossomed into one of the absolute best players in the NBA and him even considering a team other than the Warriors would be a huge surprise due to how positive their marriage has been.
Curry even said himself that he has no plans on leaving Golden State this summer or for the foreseeable future for that matter. For the Warriors to continue their immense success, retaining Curry must be the focal point of their to-do list this summer.
