Netflix has delivered the first trailer for Pharrell’s upcoming docuseries, Voices of Fire.
“In this faith-based docuseries, Bishop Ezekiel Williams builds an inspiring, nontraditional gospel choir with the help of superstar nephew Pharrell,” Netflix writes.
This may be the Virginia native’s first time working with Netflix, but it is not the first time he’s worked in front of and behind the camera. Previously, Williams worked as a composer for Despicable Me, Despicable Me 2 and Despicable Me 3. Also, he’s appeared in Black Is King and Pop Star: Never Stop, Never Stopping. Not to mention, he worked as the narrator for The Grinch and as a producer for Hidden Figures.
