Former NBA star Al Harrington’s Viola is expanding its product offerings to include edibles. In partnership with Puff Cannabis, the cannabis brand will offer edibles at dispensaries in Hamtramck and Utica, Michigan. Beginning December 16, adult-use customers and medical patients can sort through a range of edibles in various flavors, including Auntie’s Punch, Big Apple Dreamin, Paradise Island and Uptown Espresso.
“We’ve been working strategically to shift our product offering to convenience items to fit the lifestyles of our consumers,” Viola Marketing Director Najee Tyler said.
“With the massive growth of the edibles industry and gummies leading the way, we wanted to offer the Viola community something they’ve been asking for for a while. We’re excited to finally be able to provide premium products everyone can enjoy.”
Viola does not plan to limit its footprint to the state of Michigan. Moving forward, Al Harrington and company plan to introduce its edibles to consumers in Arizona, California and Colorado in 2023.
