Atlantic Records will provide the soundtrack for the 2022-2023 NBA season on ESPN. Recently, the record label inked a deal with the self-proclaimed worldwide leader in sports to provide music for the network’s NBA broadcasts throughout the 2022-2023 season. Leading the way, Atlantic Records has offered a remixed version of “My Friends” with Mustard and Ty Dolla $ign.
“Ty Dolla $ign and Mustard are setting fans up for an exciting NBA season on ESPN. The energy and passion in this track inspires the promise and hope every fan feels early on when their favorite team begins their championship journey,” Emeka Ofodile of ESPN said.
“We are excited about the collaboration with Atlantic Records, and look forward to creating more custom music with their roster of incredibly talented artists all season long.”
Mustard and Ty Dolla $ign’s “My Friends” is not only a part of ESPN’s NBA regular season kickoff, but it will also be featured on their joint album.
“We’ve been doing this for more than a decade now and it’s always special when me and Ty link,” Mustar said.
The duo has not set a release date for their joint project just yet, but the original version of “My Friends” with Lil’ Durk is available below until the full LP arrives.
