Vince Carter has put in 18 very meaningful years into the NBA and he’s on his way out. The man once dubbed “Vinsanity” averaged double figures in scoring in 16 of those 18 seasons, and averaged over 20 points per game in 11 seasons.
Carter has one year left on his current contract as a member of the Memphis Grizzlies, but in talking with NBA TV’s The Starters (around the 2:05 mark) he addresses how he would like to go out. Carter is shooting for the round number of 20, as his peer Kobe Bryant was able to do, and is hopeful he can play for two more seasons. Carter also talks about the Toronto Raptors being in the Conference Finals and his memories from when that was his team.
