After spending his first five years with the Minnesota Vikings, things began to sour this past season. There were rumors of tension between him and the organization, stemming from a disconnect between him and head coach Mike Zimmer and quarterback Kirk Cousins.
The Vikings signed Cousins to a two-year extension earlier in the day, likely adding fuel to the fire that Diggs wanted out in the first place. When healthy, Diggs is one of the most dynamic playmakers in the entire NFL and should be a worthy addition to a blossoming Buffalo offense quarterbacked by Josh Allen.
Diggs sent out a cryptic tweet earlier today after Cousins agreed to his extension. Now, Diggs finally has his wish and has an opportunity to start over with the Bills.
it’s time for a new beginning.
