(Match starts at about the 20:00 mark)
Wrestlemania 31. There were surprises all night from old school wrestlers taking the ring once again and some stars taking over the ring to make their presence known but there was one thing everyone talked about, for one reason or another. The main event match everyone in the wrestling world had an opinion on for months, finally happened.
As many people expected the match started with Brock Lesnar dominating for the most part. Lesnar was tossing Roman Reigns around like a rag doll and doing whatever he wanted to the Samoan super-human. He made Reigns look small, like less of a man but then, something happened.
After about 7 minutes of Lesnar taking Reigns to ‘suplex city’, it was time that something changed the pace of the match. Reigns fought back and it started with him laughing in the face of Lesnar as Brock stood over him, slapping Roman in the face. Brock took Reigns back to suplex city and dominated before Lesnar made a silly move.
He tossed Reigns out of the ring creating a platform for Roman to get the upper hand. Reigns smacked Lesnar’s head off the ringpost, cutting Brock wide open. They got back in the ring and exchanged signature moves for a little bit until the unthinkable happened.
‘Mr. Money in the Bank’, Seth Rollins, came to cash in his ‘Money in the Bank’ contract that guarantees him the chance to begin a WWE World Heavyweight Championship whenever he wants. It has never been cashed in before during Wrestlemania and Rollins picked apart the pieces of the worn out bodies of Reigns and Lesnar after he made the match a triple threat match.
The rest, is history, because in a matter of 5 minutes, one of the best Wrestlemania moments happened. Seth Rollins pinned Roman Reigns (much to the pleasure of the WWE universe), after an exchange of finishing moves, to win the title and end Wrestlemania 31.
