The Houston Rockets visited the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night and while Dwight Howard got the night started off early with a big alley-oop slam over Nets big man Brook Lopez, it was Brook’s teammate who made the play of the night.
Over the summer, Brooklyn Nets general manager Billy King and head coach Lionel Hollins talked about how much the acquisition of Thomas Robinson would boost the team’s overall athleticism. I think Robinson proved that with a huge dunk in the second quarter of their matchup with the Rockets.
Robinson elevated for the slam after playing a nice little two man game with fellow summer newcomer Shane Larkin. Thomas was left wide open and he drove right at the rim, powered through a Clint Capela block attempt and put down a nasty poster slam.
