We recently received the news that the folks at The Swoosh were raffling/auctioning less than 100 pairs (rumored to be 89, a play on the year the movie ushered in the shoes) of the futuristic Nike Mag. The sneaker made famous by Michael J. Fox in the classic film ‘Back To The Future II’ has released back in 2011 by way of auction. The auction featured 1,500 pairs and raised $10 Million for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research.
Sitting down with Good Morning America, Fox goes into detail in regards to the Nike Mag history and how beneficial the shoes have been in raising money for his Foundation. In total (including other donations on top of the Nike Mag) Michael J Fox Foundation has raised $650 Million for research.
As of right now the Nike Mag is available for you to try and win yourself a pair. To enter, head on over to NIKE SNKRS with just $10 (number of entries not limited) and we will wish you the best of luck.
