The Miami Heat made some moves before the trade deadline. First, they traded for Nemanja Bjelica from the Sacramento Kings and now, they’ll also add Victor Oladipo to the roster, according to Shams Charania from The Athletic.
The Houston Rockets will receive Avery Bradley, Kelly Olynyk, and a draft swap.

Oladipo barely played for the Rockets after the James Harden trade to the Brooklyn Nets but put up numbers when he was on the court. In 20 games, he averaged 21.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 5.0 assists in 33.5 minutes per game.
With the two moves, the Heat brings experience to the roster and outside shooting, especially with Bjelica whose almost a 40% shooter from beyond the arc.
As for Oladipo, he can focus more on the scoring aspect of the game having Jimmy Butler, Goran Dragic, and even Bam Adebayo take on the distribution and creation of opportunities in the offense of the team.
Miami made big improvements to the roster with the addition of Oladipo and, despite losing Olynyk, Nemanja Bjelica can offer the same or better outside shooting that the Canadian center contributed on the court.
And moves are still not done as the team is one of the favorites to get LaMarcus Aldridge after he’s bought out by the Spurs.
