Fans of Veronica Mars have had a pretty exciting few years. First, there was the TV movie revival of the cult-classic series and now an entirely new season. I’m sure Mars…Heads(?) are getting pretty hyped for the upcoming fourth season but they’ll still have to wait a couple of weeks to watch it.
In the meantime, Hulu gave fans a little hint at what to expect in the form of episode synopses for the first four episodes:
4×01 Spring Break Forever – Panic spreads through Neptune when a bomb goes off during spring break. Veronica and Keith are hired by the wealthy family of one victim injured in the bombing to find out who is responsible.
4×02 Chino and the Man – Veronica, and Keith launch their investigation. Their involvement puts Police Chief Langdon on edge. Penn goes public with his theory on who the bomber is. Meanwhile, local teen Matty Ross begins her own search for her father’s killer.
4×03 Keep Calm and Party On – Veronica and Keith’s client, Daniel Maloof, makes a shocking confession. Sheriff Langdon closes in on her top suspect. Veronica and Matty join forces, just as the whole investigation is flipped on its head.
4×04 Heads You Lose – Convinced the bomber is still at large, Veronica visits Chino to learn more about Clyde and Big Dick. Mayor Dobbins’ request for help from the FBI brings an old flame to Neptune. Veronica confronts her mugger.
Hulu also dropped some exciting new promo photos on Tuesday to tide their fans over. The streaming service dropped nearly 100 new photos showing Veronica back in action in the town of Neptune. You can check out those here, where our friends at ComingSoon.net have a full gallery set up. (And don’t worry, they’re all from the first four episodes so, there shouldn’t be any massive spoilers.)
Right now, Veronica Mars season four will be exclusive to Hulu. But, considering the series is a part of Warner Bros’ Comic-Con plans, I wouldn’t be surprised if the series popped up on HBO Max when it debuts next spring.
Veronica Mars season 4 will hit Hulu in its entirety on July 26th.
