Tyreke Evans made a name for himself as a member of the University of Memphis Tigers basketball team and he translated that into top five selection in the 2009 NBA Draft and a Rookie of the Year award. But after a few injuries and some dysfunctional situations, Evans went from a top prospect to a low-end rotation player. After two stints with the Sacramento Kings and a run with the New Orleans Pelicans, Evans hit the free agent market. Now he’s hoping to restore his image back where it all started.
Evans has agreed to sign with the Memphis Grizzlies on a one-year, $3.3 million deal.
