New music pops up from time to time without warning. H.E.R shared the tracklist for her highly-anticipated debut album and it arrived a week later. Then, Goldlink did the same with his sophomore album. Now, it looks like Tyler, The Creator is planning to do the same.
Tyler, The Creator began teasing new music by putting up billboards in London, Los Angeles, Paris, Berlin and several other major cities. Shortly thereafter, he teased a new track called “Side Street.” To complete his guessing game, he dropped a new track called “Lumberjack” complete with DJ Drama ad-libs.
“N*ggas ain’t really on the type of shit he on/I hit Drizzy and told him I had a milli’ for him/I own my companies full, told ’em to keep the loan,” he raps.
“Rolls-Royce pull up, Black boy hop out/Shoutout to my mother and my father, didn’t pull out/MSG sell out, f*ck these n*ggas yap ’bout?/Whips on whips, my ancestors got they backs out.”
Tyler, The Creator did not just drop a single, but he also announced that his next album will come before the end of the month. Call Me If You Get Lost won’t arrive on June 25, but “Lumberjack” is available below right now.
