After a lengthy break from Twitter, Goldlink returned with a bit of good news. The Washington, D.C. native let his fans know that he would be releasing a new single called “White Walls” today and a new album called Haram next Friday. The new project from the GRAMMY-nominated artist comes with features from Flo Milli, Rich The Kid, NLE Choppa and more.
Goldlink last appeared in 2019 with a full-length project called Diaspora. The album featured Jay Prince, Maleek Berry, Khalid, Pusha T, Lola Rae, Tyler The Creator, Bibi Bourelly and several other artists. In addition, the album cover featured a photo of Justine Skye taken by Hailey Bieber.
His run in 2019 did not stop with Diaspora. He found his way on to Jidenna’s 85 To Africa, Adé’s Always Something and Kaytranada’s Bubba. In addition, he worked with the Gorillaz on their seventh studio album, Song Machine, Season One: Strange Timez. Topping it all off, he earned his second GRAMMY nomination for “Like I Do” with Christina Aguilera.
Goldlink has remained relatively quiet since his run in 2019, but he is seeking to re-establish himself with this project. Check out “White Walls” below and prepare for Haram on June 18.
