Travis Scott is taking his talents from Egypt to Italy. On Wednesday, the Houston native made plans to perform at Circus Maximus in Rome, Italy on August 7, 2023. Tickets are set to go on sale on August 3, 2023.
“First stop. Utopia live at Circus Maximus. We out,” Scott wrote on Instagram.
Previously, Scott planned to perform at the Great Pyramid of Giza prior to the release of Utopia. After a public back and forth between public officials, Live Nation and other parties, the concert was canceled due to “complex production” issues.
“We regret to inform you that the Utopia show, originally scheduled for July 28th at the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt is canceled,” a tweet from Live Nation reads.
“Unfortunately, despite highest efforts, complex production issues meant that the show could not be constructed in the desert. We understand that this news is disappointing and not the outcome any of us desired.”
Since then, Travis Scott has rolled out his fourth studio album, Utopia. The 19-track project features Drake, Beyoncé, Bad Bunny and Lil’ Uzi Vert among others. In its first week, the project is projected to move nearly 500,000 units.
