Netflix has announced that they will be releasing a Too Hot To Handle reunion special on Friday, May 8, 2020. According to the streaming platform, the reunion will provide “fresh updates, frisky banter and a series of spicy games.”
The reunion special comes just a month after the show hit the internet. Bringing together ten attractive singles from across the world, the show encouraged contestants to build emotional and mental connections instead of physical bonds. In exchange, they would be given money. Ultimately, contestants walked away with $7,500 each and a bit of public fame.
Routinely, Netflix takes 10-12 weeks to announce the renewal of a show. However, it seems pretty evident that the streaming platform will bring back the reality show for a second season.
This news comes on the heels of the British hit reality dating show, Love Island, pushing its seventh season back to 2021. Much like Love Island, Too Hot To Handle, will be impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead of meeting in person, the reunion special will take place virtually.
Catch the reunion episode of Too Hot To Handle on Netflix on May 8th.
