The Baltimore Ravens have hired Georgia Bulldogs offensive coordinator Todd Monken for the same position. Monken makes the jump back to the NFL after coaching for Georgia from 2020 to this past college football season. Previously he served in various roles in both the NFL and college football. Monken has been the offensive coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Cleveland Browns in his coaching career. After the end of this NFL season, the Ravens and offensive coordinator Greg Roman decided to part ways. A revamped offense is exactly what the franchise needed moving into next season.

The Georgia Bulldogs’ defense gets most of the attention, but the offense saw major improvements under the leadership and coaching of Todd Monken. He was part of a program that won back-to-back National Championships in large part to their improved offensive success. The Ravens have major issues to address this offseason on offense including the contract of quarterback Lamar Jackson and the need to add a wide receiver one as well.
Todd Monken will come into the franchise and help address some of these issues and also implement a new offense. Baltimore is traditionally a run-heavy team and it will be interesting to see if that changes next season. Making a decision about Lamar Jackson and his contract will be the top story of the offseason for the Ravens.
